My beautiful nieceI had the privilege of shooting my niece's senior portrait. Cheralyn loves horse's so we knew cowboy boots were in order and she happened to have a pair. We also knew a beautiful dress had to be found. Off to the mall we went on a Saturday with everyone else. There were high school girls everywhere trying to pick out their homecoming dresses and I thought our mission was going to be an epic fail because I do not do well with shopping in a crowd. As we nudged our way through the crowded ailse's there were lots of typical homecoming dress, bright colors, big bows, sequins, etc. As pretty as some of them were it was not what either of us had pictured. As we turned to leave I saw some beautiful lace out of the corner of my eye and headed to the one rack that was not surrounded by people. As I pulled this dress off the rack Cher and I looked at each other and smiled, we had found the dress! Now it was off to find a horse to model with and thanks to Cher's friend we found one.
The best part of this photo shoot was that I was able to spend the weekend with my niece. We had so much fun and I love her so much! So excited to see what God has in store for her future! To see the rest of Cher's portraits click here
